This is a huge dissapointment after weeks of play. The ridiculous situation Im in now, is I've held every fief on the map for over a month game time, no lords from the other factions have as much as attempted to raid a village let alone seige a castle. I usually have a coffee and smoke while I watch it with a small sense of satisfaction. Usually when you complete and epic game, you get some slighty dissatisfying graphic sequence followed by the credits. I cant negotiate anything beyond ceasefire with both factions despite having 4500 renown and 660 honour, 99 right to rule. I cant destroy them because I can't find them. Though despite having between 30 and 35 lords each they are totally invisible. I cant destroy the remaining 2 factions because I cant find them! They have no settlements. This didnt happen with the veigirs and swadia.Īt the moment I control the entire map.
When you capture all a factions settlements they should be destroyed within a couple of days. The bug that I think is stopping me from actually ending the game is this. A week ago I only had about 10 castles and 3 citys left to capture held by the khergits and veigirs to finish the game. The conclusion of the game as been forgone for some time, and like many games that require you to capture a map I tend to rush the end just to get it finished. I think this is my 4th serious attempt at a game, I've got the others to anything from day 900-1300 before deciding to start over.
I've been playing warband most days now for the last couple of months.
